The MBT02 Repeater Asset Tag is designed to improve Bluetooth® asset tracking by extending signal coverage and improving data collection efficiency. Equipped with a low-power Bluetooth® chip, it can both scan for nearby beacons and broadcast signals to gateways, helping ensure reliable tracking in larger environments.
The device supports two scanning modes—periodic scanning and movement-triggered scanning—to optimise performance and battery usage. By detecting nearby Bluetooth® tags and forwarding the strongest signal to the gateway, the MBT02 enhances asset visibility while reducing the number of gateways required, making it a cost-effective solution for asset tracking and usage monitoring.
