Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) housings tolerate repeated bending or torsion. Bright colours provide excellent contrast if the optical ide seal is broken. They are waterpntification when laser engraved or embossed with logos, barcodes, or text. Highly rugged on-metal options exist as well.
